The Mace PepperGard Leather Plus Spray features a glow in the dark locking safety cap makes it easy to use, even in the dark! Contains 11 grams of pepper spray, enough for five to fifteen short bursts, with an effective range up to 10 feet.
The 10% PepperGard formula is one of our hottest (1.4% capsaicinoids concentration.) These pepper sprays contain oleoresin capsicum – a naturally occurring substance derived from cayenne peppers. The OC pepper formula creates an intense burning sensation to the skin, eyes and throat, and causes an attacker’s eyes to slam shut upon direct contact. PepperGard also contains an invisible UV dye, which marks the assailant and may aid in identification.
